In a delightful tutorial found on YouTube, crafting enthusiasts are treated to a step-by-step guide on how to crochet a charming clam shell-inspired top.  The video tutorial from Yarns and Fins is free, but if you would like a written pattern, you need to purchase it.

Skill Level:  Easy to Intermediate
Yarn Used: I used Mandala Cakes from Lion Brand
Needle size: 5 mm hook or hook size for proper gauge.
Other materials:  scissors, yarn needle.
Yarn Care:  Machine washable and dryable.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

With materials in hand, viewers are guided through each step of the crocheting process. Beginning with the creation of the base, the tutorial demonstrates how to crochet the body of the top, ensuring a comfortable and flattering fit. Clear and concise instructions make it easy for viewers to follow along, even if they’re new to crochet.

I decided to follow along with the video tutorial and I wanted to use my Mandala cake yarn, so that is what I did.  My step-daughter beautfully modeled the finished product for me.
