Knit this beautiful cozy hooded cardigan for your happy little explorers. Helps keep them warm in the cool spring and fall. The hood helps protect against windy days.
This is a “PDF PATTERN” teaching how to make the Little Adventurer Hooded Cardigan and NOT A PHYSICAL SWEATER FOR SALE.
PATTERN NOTES:
- Skill level – Easy to Intermediate pattern using double stranded stitching.
- This knitting pattern is written in standard US TERMS.
- Sizes: 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 24-36 months
- Gauge: 18 STS – 22 rows garter stitch = 4” x 4” with 3.5 mm needles
- 2 Strands held together
MATERIALS NEEDED:
- I used Patons Astra #3 light DK from Michaels Stores.
Pumpkin color made with Bernat Softee Baby yarn from Michaels Stores. - For 3-6 months and 6-12 months:
Dark Green 4-50gm balls =200 grams
Light Green 4-50gm balls = 200 grams
White 2-50gm balls = 100 grams
OR
Pink 5-50gm balls = 250 grams
White 5-50gm balls = 250 grams - For 12-24 months and 24-36 months:
Dark Green 6-50gm balls = 300 grams
Light Green 4-50gm balls = 200 grams
White 2-50gm balls = 100 grams
Pumpkin – 8-50gm balls = 400 grams
White – 2-50gm balls = 100 grams - Needles
5 mm DPN, 3.5mm Circular needle 24” - Yarn needle, scissors
